Congratulations to Kevin Courtney who has been elected as the Deputy General Secretary. He has the clear endorsement of members and activists alike and I know he will work hard, alongside Christine Blower, to make sure our Union leads the fight to protect members and education in the difficult times ahead.
Kevin has my full support in his new role. This is a good day for the NUT.

Ps Many thanks to everyone who has supported me. I will be continuing to work hard on the important campaigns we have ahead. We all have a lot to do if we are going to continue to organise and deliver for members.
